Coronation Street fans are fearing Corey Brent may strike again as his escape plan starts to unravel.
The killer footballer has been seen panicking in recent episodes as the backpack he chucked into the river after beating Seb Franklin was found.
The Weatherfield County branded bag was fished out the water by Stu who was none the wiser to it being a crucial piece of evidence.
It contained Corey's clothes from the night of the hate crime attack, covered in Seb's blood.

But it wasn't until Stu tried stealing food from the corner shop that Asha Alahan noticed his bag, and set off in pursuit.
Once Asha and Nina Lucas tracked Stu down, he wasn't willing to give up the bag and help them in their quest for justice for Seb.
However, he soon related following an impassioned speech from Nina, and returned to the shop with the clothes that could hold the key to getting Corey convicted of murder.
But in the meantime, Stu managed to get some money out of Corey to hand over the backpack.

As viewers saw, Corey's plan backfired and after pretty much confessing to Seb's murder to his dad, the teen is now hunting Stu down.
Corey watched as Stu left Roy's cafe after paying a visit to Nina. Realising they appeared to be getting on well, Corey was planning his next move.
"She's a freak but what does she want with some old soap dodger?" Corey said on the phone to his dad.
"Dad, what if he's ripped us off. Took our money. Yes, alright dad. Your money."

But the scene has left fans fearing for Stu.
"Corey will kill this poor fella now," tweeted one.
Another shocked fan said: "Corey is gonna kill this old man #Corrie."
"Corey, don't kill Stu! #Corrie," a third demanded.
A fourth soap watcher added: "Corey has found Stu.. Protect Stu at all costs #Corrie."
"He better not kill Stu. He's already a #Corrie legend!" another said.

And Corrie fans are keen for him to stay.
"Can @itvcorrie keep Stu? He’d be a great regular on the cobbles. #Corrie #CoronationStreet," asked one.
Another commented: "I hope #corrie bosses make stu a permanent character. bill fellows plays him so naturally."
"I wouldn't mind Stu staying on the show #Corrie," a third added.
However, among all the love for Stu, viewers have spotted a problem.

"Shouldn't Corey have already fled the country by now instead of constantly hanging around to terrorize Abi/threaten Stu? Literally begging to be caught now clearly #Corrie #JusticeForSeb," one fan commented.
Another said: "A few weeks ago, Corey was packing for Germany. So why has he not gone? #Corrie."
"Shouldn't Corey be in Germany by now? #Corrie," a third asked.
A fourth added: "Corey just go to bloody Germany. Bored now #Corrie."
