Corrie fans complain over double change to latest soap episodes as they await justice for Seb

Coronation Street fans were left complaining over a double change to its latest episodes.

Fans were sat down and ready for their final trip of the week to Weatherfield following as the gripping court scenes continued.

This week viewers have seen what really happened on the night Nina Lucas and Seb Franklin were attacked in a hate crime.

In May, the loved-up couple were chased and set upon by Corey Brent, Kelly Neelan, and two of Corey's mates after they bumped into them while walking a different way home through the wasteland.

Monday's chilling episode showed the moment Seb was kicked until he couldn't move by Corey, before waking up and crawling to be by Nina's side while phoning an ambulance.

But as fans know, Seb tragically died from his injuries and Kelly was charged with his murder.

The tearaway teen and evil Corey are now on trial and viewers have been gripped by every twist and turn as Nina and Seb's mum Abi seek justice.

However, after the first four episodes of the week were dedicated to Nina's flashbacks of the fateful night and the start of the trial, fans were left disappointed on Friday night.

This was for not one but two reasons.

For weeks, Corrie has been airing for one hour on a Friday night - omitting the usual 30-minute gap seen on other nights.

"So weird that #Corrie has gone back to two Friday episodes on a night when it would actually benefit from being an hour long piece," one fan tweeted.

Another replied: "I was thinking exactly the same."

"Should be an hour continuously on a Friday surely," a third added.

A fourth asked: "Yo @ITV why isn't this on for an hour like it always is on Friday."

"This should have been an hour episode #Corrie," another commented.

Not only that, viewers were annoyed they didn't see justice served and that they didn't see enough from court.

"I hope this isn't gonna drag on for weeks, we want justice for Seb," one said.

Another commented: "They are ragging this storyline out once again was hoping it [would] be over this week. Looks like we [are] in for another week of this alright."

"Annoying we have to wait until next week to find out the verdict," a third added.

A fourth said: "We have to wait until next week to find out the verdict the suspense is killing me #Corrie."

"Was crap tonight compared to Wednesday. Jumping back and forward between Corey trial, Fiz and Hope, Emma, Todd etc," another fumed.

A viewer said: "A strange episode tonight. High drama in the court, and Laurel nd Hardy in the funeral parlor."

"Let's see some more court action FFS #Corrie," another demanded.
