Coronation Street fans were stunned to see Weatherfield legend Roy Cropper exit the cobbles after 26 years.
It was a sudden departure for Roy, played by David Neilson, after he decided to up and leave this week.
And tonight (Wednesday November 24) his niece Nina Lucas was shocked to find out from Adam Barlow that Roy had signed over his entire estate to her with immediate effect and was frightened he was going to take his own life.

Then Roy's Rolls cafe owner Roy, who has been in the soap since 1995, sadly revealed that he planned to leave the street for good.
And he explained he was leaving to take a job as a chef in South America.
Fans were left scratching their heads.

Roy is starting a new life after feeling the pressure as police traced the gun used to kill Natasha Blakeman.
Police now know it was the same gun used by Abi's ex Tez in a raid several years ago.
Abi bought the gun from Tez to go after her son's killer Corey Brent in revenge for Seb's brutal murder.
But Roy stopped her from shooting the teenage thug after the pair were washed away together in a Victorian sewer.
The gun was washed away and later found by drugs lord Harvey Gaskell who then shot Natasha thinking she was Leanne Battersby.
Roy has since been covering for Abi, but after DS Abney told him she had more questions he angrily told Abi that yet again he’d had to lie to the police on her behalf.
He told Nina he no longer wants to burden her with his pain and guilt but she was devastated when he walked out on her.
