Coronation Street fans were left reeling after realising exactly where they recognise Linda from - and it's another soap.
Actress Jacqueline Leonard plays Joseph's grandmother Linda in the ITV soap and she is part of a huge storyline as of late, as poor Joseph is faced with a tough decision as Linda posed a huge question to the young boy.
Linda wants to take him back to Portugal to live with her whilst his dad Chesney is understandably not keen and wants him to stay on the cobbles with him, his partner Gemma and their quadruplets.
However, in sad scenes which aired yesterday, Joseph admitted to his dad that he wants to go with his grandmother and live abroad.
Whilst the storyline has been heartbreakingly sad, fans of the ITV soap have been left distracted by the actress who plays Linda, as they are convinced they know her from somewhere - and they have finally cracked it.
Actress Jacqueline also appeared in a rival soap a number of years ago, having starred in EastEnders as Lorraine Wicks, the mum of Joe Wicks - who was played by Paul Nicholls - for two years in 1996 and 1997.
"Probably a bit late to the party, but I've just clocked Joe Wicks' mum from EastEnders has rolled up to Corrie playing the posh nan," one fan penned on social media.
A second added: "Corrie fans did you know that Linda played Joe Wicks’ mum in EastEnders? I knew she looked familiar... this is what she looked like back then," with a third writing: "Linda is ex EastEnders and looks younger now than she did in the 90’s."
"The woman playing Linda in Corrie looks familiar to me and tonight I recognised her voice. I just realised it's the woman who played Joe Wicks' mum Lorraine in #EastEnders!" a fourth shared.
A fifth wrote: "The actress who plays Linda in corrie looks as good today as she did 20 years ago in #eastenders... it was the voice that made me click.... very beautiful lady who doesn't seem to age .. lucky girl."
Jacqueline first joined Corrie in 2015 as Katy's mother, before she took her daughter and Joseph away to Portugal. However, Joseph returned to the ITV soap in 2017 after his mum passed away in a car crash.
