A steamy moment between Carla Connor and Peter Barlow on Coronation Street had Corrie fans blushing.
The newlyweds tried to steal some alone time together at 1 Coronation Street which is shared with adoptive half-sister Tracy, her husand Steve McDonald and their teenage daughter Amy in the ITV soap.
Carla was keen to add some spice to their relationship, especially after finding her new husband planning to quietly work on a jigsaw with Steve.
So she grabbed his attention when he was on his own by strutting into the living room in a belted coat and informed him that she was wearing saucy undies underneath.
"I do think we should make some effort though. Real effort to keep the marriage alive," she purred to her man, who has been convalescing while awaiting a liver transplant.
"It's just I never want to pressurise you what with you being ill."
Gazing up from his newspaper Peter told her: "I'm not that ill."
The soap later cut back to Steve's awkward reaction when he walked in on the couple in the living room.
The Street Cars boss quickly shut the door when he clapped eyes on them on the floor.
"Peter and Carla! Idk if to laugh or cry!" tweeted one fan.
"On the living room floor?! Uncle Albert would be appalled!" cried another viewer, remembering Albert Tatlock who lived there before the Barlows.
"Ugh thats gross. As if you would do that in someone elses house," tweeted another fan.
"Steve catching Carla and Peter! I'm actually ..." said another viewer with a skull and crying-with-laughter emojis.
Another applauded: "Peter is one lucky guy."
And another fan of the popular Corrie couple said: "Peter and Carla really really really need more scenes like this."
Carla and Peter are keen to move in to their own home together after tying the knot recently.
It's been a rocky road for the couple after Carla suffered a breakdown and went missing following the collapse of her beloved Underworld factory in 2019.
Alcoholic Peter later hit the bottle again after being sent on downward spiral after having his taxi stolen and he was reeling when he found out that Carla had slept with his nephew Adam.
Her ex Lucas Kempton tried to persuade her to flee with him but Carla chose soulmate Peter over her old flame.
