Coronation Street fans have found themselves asking the same thing as they watch the trial scenes unfold.
In Wednesday night's double bill, viewers were taken to the first day of Kelly Neelan and Corey Brent's trial over the murder of Seb Franklin.
Corrie's youngest baddies are due to be quizzed on their involvement in the hate attack on Seb and Nina in May.
On Monday night, flashback scenes revealed that it was Corey who was responsible for Seb's injuries that led to his tragic death.

Viewers watched in horror as the promising footballer kicked the builder until he stopped moving, with a distressed Kelly begging him to stop.
The truth was finally exposed as grief-stricken Nina finally remembered how events unfolded on that fateful night.
With her evidence having been torn apart in the court room by Corey's defence lawyer - and Imran Habeeb's ex-wife - Shabeen, and Asha's love for Nina being blamed for Corey's actions, things are not looking good for Kelly and Seb's justice.

Both defendants are still yet to take to the stand but viewers have now pointed out that there are two key witnesses who could definitely prove that Corey is lying.
As shown in the reconstruction scenes, Nina was brutally beaten by two other boys - known only as Eli and Jay.
But they haven't been seen since.
During her statement, Nina recalled Corey, Kelly, Eli and Jay were the ones who came after her and Seb.
Taking to social media, fans were left with the same questions.

"There were two other boys involved in the attack. The ones who attacked Nina. Where are they? Have they been called as witnesses or charged with attacking Nina? #Corrie," tweeted one.
Another asked: "Are Eli and the other boy not part of this trial? They should be done for GBH on Nina!"
"Where are the other two suspects, Jay and Eli? Surely, in a murder trial, they'd have all four suspects @itvcorrie #coronationstreet #corrie," a third added.
A fourth questioned: "Why have they forgotten about the two other lads that was there that night? They get away with it Scott free? #Corrie."
"Imran should really have called the two miscreants who pled guilty to attacking Nina - they were there when Seb was knocked to the ground (by Corey) at the start of the attack & they’d also be under oath…#corrie," another said.
But one fan attempted to clear up the confusion, saying: "They already pleaded guilty and are awaiting sentence," and "It’s Seb’s trial. theirs will be separate."
Another echoed this, tweeted: "BTW the two minor characters that beat up Nina plead out to avoid a trial, they mentioned it a few weeks back!"
