Corrie fans asking the same question after first glimpse of soap week aftermath

Coronation Street fans have been left with one main question after Monday night's trip to the cobbles.

It was the first glimpse at the aftermath of Horror Nation Street - or 'Super Soap Week' - which has left multiple residents reeling.

And by the end of the episode, there was more heartache as a second death occurred as a result of last week's Halloween disaster.

In the hospital, the doctor was seen telling Nick that Natasha's operation went well after she was shot by Harvey Gaskell in a shock mix-up.

The drug lord was seeking revenge on Leanne Battersby and confronted her in the empty Bistro - until she got away.

Harvey then gave chase around the street in the middle of a storm and his task wasn't an easy one as the street was filled with people in Halloween costumes attending Debbie Webster's House of Horrors event.

And just as he had Leanne - who was dressed up as Morticia Addams - back in his sight, the ground collapsed and Harvey disappeared.

But he emerged unscathed, and in the path of Abi Franklin's missing gun.

Returning to the cobbles, Harvey thought he had found Leanne in the flat she shares with Nick Tilsley and he opened fire.

But when Nick arrived home, he was shocked to discover Natasha lying lifeless on the floor in the same Morticia Addams Halloween costume.

On Monday night, Natasha's ex and Sam's dad was told she was in a critical condition and soon required another surgery to stop internal bleeding.

As they waited for her to come out of theatre, Sam collected gifts for his mum and wrote her a card.

But in heartbreaking scenes, Sam was later told his mum had died.

As fans got themselves together following the emotional scenes, they were also left confused as to Harvey's whereabouts.

On Friday, it was left with Harvey unconscious in Leanne's car after she crashed it in order to get away from him.

"So #corrie brings back Harvey for #SuperSoapWeek then fails to tell us if he's dead or alive after Leanne drives into a skip! You can't leave us with 'he has a faint pulse'," tweeted one Corrie viewer.

Another asked: "Did Harvey die? I don't remember hearing/seeing what happened him after the crash?! #Corrie."

"Do we know if Harvey is dead or alive? Confused #Corrie," a third added.

A fourth said: "Poor #Sam I expect #Leanne is going to help raise him now with #Nick like she did with #Simon but i want to know if #Harvey is definitely dead or not?? @itvcorrie #Corrie."

What some viewers may have missed was Roy mentioning Harvey had been "re-apprehended and incarcerated" - confirming he was alive.

But does that mean he could make another comeback?
