Poor old Tyrone Dobbs isn't having the best of times on Coronation Street right now after his messy split from long-term partner Fiz Stape.
And things went from bad to worse on Friday night's soap - not least when his mate and garage boss Kevin Webster dropped a clanger.
For Kevin over-estimated Tyrone's age as 40 - and he wasn't best pleased about it.
It left fans swiftly debating how old Tyrone, played by actor Alan Halsall, really is.
Fans believe he is going through something of a "mid-life crisis" at the moment after his affair with much younger woman Alina Pop (Ruxandra Porojnicu) who is in her 20s.
Tyrone's age came up after he was forced to explain why he still stank of booze the next morning at the garage to Kevin as he offered to drive out to a breakdown, and had to explain that someone spilt booze on his shirt and he'd come out in it that morning.
But Kevin was suspicious of that explanation and said: "It's one thing bouncing back from a big night out when you're 20 but 40 is a bit different."
"I'm not flaming 40," Tyrone shouted before storming out of the garage.
According to soap files, Tyrone is actually 38, and won't be 40 until December 2022 so it clearly touched a nerve with the mechanic.
Corrie fans were quick to question what Tyrone's real age must be.
One said: "Kevin thinks Tyrone is 40 years old, awks"
Another added: "Tyrone thinks he's not 40, haha!"
In real life, actor Alan Halsall is just the same age as Tyrone at 38, although he will turn 40 just a few months before his soap character in August 2022.
