Corrie fans are saying the same thing about latest Carla Connor and Sharon Bentley scenes

Coronation Street viewers have been left with one major question following the latest scenes between Carla Connor and Sharon Bentley.

As fans now know, Sharon made a return to Weatherfield last month more than two decades after leaving the street behind.

And the real reason for her return has been revealed - she's the aunt of drug lord Harvey.

Viewers of the ITV soap have seen that Sharon is on a mission to help her nephew, who is in prison, track down Leanne Battersby and Simon Barlow after they crossed him.

During Monday night's double Corrie trip, fans saw Sharon's latest attempt to find their location - by popping round to see Carla and Peter Barlow with flowers from her and foster mum Rita Tanner.

Leading Carla into a false sense of security, as soon as her back was turned, Sharon had dipped her hand in Carla's bag.

She managed to check Carla's Google Maps history after sussing that she had been to visit Simon, Leanne and Nick as they remain in hiding.

Passing on the information, Sharon looked like the cat who got the cream as she got herself a celebratory drink in the Rover.

Only to find out that Simon, Leanne and Nick had done a runner from their temporary home.

Despite that, fans were talking about the same thing on social media.

"How in this day and age has Sharon got into Carla’s phone without any trouble ...surely she would have a passcode or security lock #Corrie #sharon #carla #Unbelievable," one tweeted.

Another said: "Does no one on Corrie lock their phones with a pin or password then? #Corrie."

"Coronation Street, the last place on earth where no one locks their phone #corrie," a third added.

A fourth asked: "How come no one on the tele ever has their mobile phone locked #Corrie."

"#Corrie I love how they all have their phones unlocked. No PIN. No Facial Recognition," another noted.

That's because it's not the first time Sharon has got away with snooping.

A couple of weeks ago she managed to run off with Gail Platt's tablet to get more information on Nick and co's whereabouts.
