Coronation Street viewers were screaming at their tellies on Friday as Grace Vickers begged Michael Bailey to elope to Spain with her following her horror bombshell that they are not Tiana's parents.
Grace had lied to Michael and pretended baby Tiana was their daughter, but told him she had a new boyfriend and that they were running away to Spain.
A devastated Michael took Tiana to the park in a bid to stop them from catching their flight, and Grace had Michael arrested for abducting her.
But the police informed Michael that Grace was living a complete lie, and neither of them were Tiana's parents, Grace was just her babysitter.
Grace visited a heartbroken Michael and told him she'd suffered a miscarriage while they were together, and begged for his forgiveness.
She even asked him to go to Spain for a new life together, and Michael said yes before going upstairs to pack a bag.
While he was gone, Grace reached into her bag and pulled out a positive pregnancy test, and beamed at it.
But when Michael came back downstairs, she realised he had called the police, and Craig Tinker entered the room and told Grace she was under arrest for fraud by false representation.
Grace asked Michael: "Why?"
He replied: "Do you really have to ask? You think I was just going to jump on the plane with you, you're not that deranged, surely?"
"I thought you had forgiven me, if you loved me you would have done," Grace pleaded.
Michael replied: "I did love you and I loved Tiana too, and I would have loved our child and I would have mourned him but you never gave me a chance.
"You robbed me of two kids in two days, Grace, I was doing fine before I met you and now I'm not sure I'll ever be the same.
As Grace said she was sorry, Michael replied: "You and me both, we always are but we never change."
Grace tried to add: "Michael, there's something -"
"I don't want to hear, it it's over," Michael interrupted, leaving Grace unable to tell him the truth.
