Coronation Street fans were moved to tears on Wednesday night, and they were not alone.
Seb Franklin's loved ones were distraught, as they heard his final words before his tragic death earlier this year played out in court.
The ITV soap aired harrowing scenes on Monday night, as a special flashback episode revealed the truth about Seb and girlfriend Nina Lucas' attack.
The scenes showed what happened that night, and Seb's final moments before he sadly lost his life.
Following the immediate aftermath of the attack, viewers learned Seb was briefly conscious and trying to save his girlfriend in his final moments - even managing to call an ambulance that may have saved her life.

He'd been brutally kicked in the head and body by vile Corey Brent until he was bleeding and unconscious, and he later suffered a fatal brain haemorrhage.
Nina was also stamped on and kicked by two other guys and left to die, and Nina was Seb's first thought when he regained consciousness by the canal.
Seb managed to drag himself across the road after seeing Nina fighting for her life in the distance, clearly injured.

Despite struggling to breathe and being in a huge amount of pain, Seb pulled himself towards Nina in a desperate bid to save her life.
He began choking, with him struggling to stay awake - all the time his thoughts being on his girlfriend.
After reaching her, he tried to wake her up and told her he loved her as he called for an ambulance - with this call recorded by emergency services.
This was played out in court during Wednesday's episode with his loved ones devastated, hearing his final moments as he struggled to breathe.
His words to Nina would be his final words before he sadly passed away from his injuries later on, never regaining consciousness.
Taking to Twitter, viewers shared their heartbreak over the scenes with one writing: "Poor Abi, having to actually sit there hearing Seb's dying words as he struggled to breathe."

A second viewer watching said: "That emergency call from Seb broke my heart."
Another wrote: "That was so heartbreaking - probably the last words Seb spoke."
A fourth commented: "To think that Seb's last words were to save his girlfriend and tell her that he loved her."
Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7:30pm and 8:30pm on ITV.
