Leyla recently made a cryptic phone call that left viewers convinced she had a secret, as they speculated over who she was talking to.

Corrie collapse horror for Summer

Summer, played by Harriet Bibby, has been struggling (ITV)

Summer, played by Harriet Bibby, has been struggling with an eating disorder in heartbreaking scenes on the ITV soap.

After being diagnosed with type 1 diabetes last year, the teen is also struggling to control her insulin levels - wanting to live a 'normal' teen life.

On top of this, fragile Summer has been piling pressure on herself over her exams in the hopes of securing the grades she needs to get into university.

This week, Summer's friend Amy Barlow (Elle Mulvaney) confronts her at Victoria Gardens and points out she is putting herself in serious danger.

Summer responds angrily and urges Amy to back off - but later the police discover her slumped on a bench next to bottles of alcopops.

Unaware of her diabetes, they assume she’s drunk and take her to the police station.

Craig rushes to the cells at the police station, where he finds Summer in a diabetic coma (ITV)

Luckily Amy and Aadi (Adam Hussain) are both concerned when they discover what happened and tip off Craig (Colson Smith) that Summer's collapse may have been caused by her diabetes.

Craig rushes to the cells at the police station, where he finds Summer in a diabetic coma.

As Craig desperately shouts for someone to call an ambulance, he fears the worst. Is Summer going to be okay?

EastEnders' Sam Mitchell returns

Sam Mitchell makes her presence known on the BBC soap this week (ITV)

Sam Mitchell makes her presence known on the BBC soap this week, as she makes her big return.

She soon gets on the wrong side of Kat and Sharon who are less than pleased to see her, refusing to reveal what has brought her back to Walford after six years since her last visit.

Jack Branning is alarmed to see her again after so long, and despite her assuring him it’s a brief visit he can't help but worry.

Her true reasons for being back in Walford are not made clear, but her nephew Ben is furious to discover what Sam is up to, and he's not the only one.

Sam reveals all to her cousin Billy about what's going on and why she's there, but she then tells him she’s leaving that night.

Later in the week, Jack is alarmed when he receives a worrying phone call as Sam goes to extreme lengths to get what she wants.
