Coronation Street bosses are planning to recreate the iconic well-known feud between Ken Barlow and Mike Baldwin.
The epic rivalry spanned more than 20 years and provided some great storylines for the ITV soap back in the day.
Now, the writers are keen to bring back the drama - but this time between David Platt and Daniel Osbourne.
David (Jack P Shepherd) and Daniel (Rob Mallard) have already been at loggerheads for a while now, and they're not going to bury the hatchet any time soon.
Most recently, Corrie viewers have seen them lock horns after David’s adopted teen Max accused Ken’s son and school teacher Daniel of having a fling with his pupil Summer Spellman (Harriet Bibby).

Ken’s daughter, Tracy Barlow, couldn’t wait to stick her nose in and said of Max, who has ADHD,: "That Platt lad is off his rocker, like the rest of his flaming family!"
Speaking about taking the feud to the next level, executive producer Iain Macleod said: “I was struck with Daniel and David in many scenes – I asked if they’d had many scenes and Jack quipped that he maybe passed him a beer mat.

"Having these two actors in really big angry and emotional scenes – both quite witty, it’s just dynamite."
He continued: "The moment I saw them going at it, I just knew. Why didn’t we do this before?! I don’t want to jinx it by saying it’s like Ken and Mike but it has the potential to go on a long time. I hope it works."
But David and Daniel aren't the only residents that will be bringing plenty of drama to the cobbles in 2022.

Abi Franklin’s and Imram Habeeb’s baby news following their one night stand will become “a big buried bomb” that will “turn into a gobsmacking cataclysm”.
Adam Barlow’s ex Lydia will bring a “Fatal Attraction” style nightmare to the soap and pose a massive threat to his marriage with Sarah Platt.
And Tracy and Steve McDonald will be horrified when good girl daughter Amy starts dating “the worst possible boyfriend” - ex-drug dealer Jacob.
