Corrie 'boss babe' Alexandra Mardell distracts fans with 'filthy' problem in snap

Coronation Street Alexandra Madell has distracted fans with her latest Instagram snap.

The actress is best known for playing kind-hearted, yet slight ditzy, Emma Brooker in the ITV soap.

In Wednesday night's show we saw the barmaid having to say goodbye to her best friend Alina Pop.

Ruxandra Porojnicu later confirmed she has left the soap after two years of playing the beautician.

This now leaves Emma to live in the flat with boyfriend Curtis Delemare as well as Alina's now ex Tyrone Dobbs who has scuppered any chance of getting back with Fiz Stape.

But amidst all the on-screen heartbreak, Ali took to social media with a smiling 'boss babe' snap.

"Just a reminder to those who need it to be a BOSS BABE," the 28-year-old captioned the photo as she held a mug featuring 'boss babe' emblazoned across it in pink.

Ali was sat on set, still dressed in character in a pink puffed mesh sleeved top and checked skirt.

However, fans couldn't help but make the same comment.

"Paint your bloody walls," one said.

Another commented: "When are they going to paint those burned walls? Lol."

"It winds me up, that it hasn’t been painted since the fire! Love your character always nice to have someone happy and cheerful on Corrie!" a third added.

A fourth joked: "Landlord should have decorated the flat by now, stop paying rent."

"Please get someone to clean that flat corrie, its been weeks and it's still filthy, nobody would live like that so come on get it sorted," another begged.

As Corrie fans have rightly remembered, the flat was set on fire by Tyrone's daughter Hope Stape after she became jealous of his relationship with Alina and their baby news.

But others were quick to flood the Corrie star with compliments.

"Beautiful. Absolutely love your outfit," a fan said.

Another replied: "YEYYY pretty in pink. Well pretty in any colour."

"@alexandramardell love the mug and that top," a third added.
