Coronation Street star Gareth Pierce has been heaping praise from soap fans - even if his character is in the bad books.
The actor has starred as Todd Grimshaw since returning to the street back in 2020 and has been on a successful - so far - mission to win back ex Billy Mayhew.
Viewers have watched as Todd has schemed his way back into Billy and goddaughter Summer's affections in recent months to the point where Billy and Todd are set to wed.
But things are set to change next week when teenager Will - who Todd paid to help him split up Billy and his now ex Paul Foreman - exposes all his crimes to Summer.

Off-screen though, the cast gets on like a house on fire and a recent post from Gareth was flooded with comments thanks to his selfie partner.
The Corrie star posed up alongside George Shuttleworth actor Tony Maudsley, who made his Coronation Street debut last September.
The pair were away on a sunny camping trip a couple of weeks ago with their co-stars when the picture was taken but Gareth has not long shared it with his followers.
"You are both spectacular," praised one.
Another gushed: "You are on [fire emoji] as a partnership on the cobbles!!"
"You two are f’in amazing together! Love the storylines and the bond," a third echoed.
A fourth added: "Omg I didn’t even recognise @tonymaudsley1 I went back on the post to see who he was then thought George... Shuttleworth and great pic both looking good."
But some just can't forget Tony's past role in Benidorm.
"Sorry but I just cant get past Kenneth! Bloody love him," one fan said.
Another joked: "Did kenneths shorts come out?!"
"KENNETH!!" a third simply shouted with a love heart emoji.
A fourth even suggested: "@garpierce maybe a Benidorm spin off & you can be Kenneths’ love interest."
