Corrections and clarifications column editor

Corrections and clarifications

• An article (How to cut costs when you’re expecting a baby, 30 August, p45) said there was a “two-child cap” on child benefit. This is not the case: every child is eligible, but the eldest will qualify for a higher amount. The two-child cap refers to families on universal credit.

• An article (And to finish? British puds on course for a sticky end, warns English Heritage, 14 August, p3) featured an image of the Portuguese version of king cake rather than the English one as intended.

• Other recently amended articles include:

One-way ticket to Vietnam: Catherine Leroy’s fearless war photography – in pictures
