Corrections and clarifications column editor

Corrections and clarifications

• We suggested incorrectly that Bianca Blackburn, Lark Davies, Heather Kerr and Leanne Riley, who have been selected for the England women’s rugby squad for next month’s Six Nations competition, had not previously been capped (Four new caps in England women’s squad, 18 January, page 7, Sport). All four have played for England before but did not feature in the autumn internationals last year.

• An article about climate change (‘The ocean is torturing us’, 19 January, page 14, G2) said a sea level rise of “8mm over 20 years” had been recorded at Cox’s Bazar, a town in Bangladesh. That should have said “8mm a year over 20 years”.

• A front-page article (Salmon prices set to leap due to infestations of sea lice, 14 February) said that Chile was the world’s biggest producer of farmed salmon. Chile is in fact the world’s second biggest producer, behind Norway.
