Correction to Star Tribune story

An early version of a June 4 article, MINN-POLICE-SHOOTING:MS, headlined “Deputies shoot, kill murder suspect in Minneapolis’ Uptown neighborhood” from the Minneapolis Star Tribune incorrectly reported that the man who was shot and killed, later identified as Winston Boogie Smith, was a murder suspect. Publications that used that story in print are asked to run a correction. Publications that used that story online are asked to remove or correct it.
