In our article of 20 April "Sex abuse victims 'left suicidal' after being tortured by sick football chants", we reported that “banners showing sex acts being performed” had appeared at Ibrox stadium.
Although we attributed claims in the article that banners had appeared at Scottish football matches to Dave Sharp, of childhood abuse organisation SAFE, one sentence stated as fact that a banner appeared at Ibrox instead of a claim by Mr Sharp, who did not witness this match first hand.
This correction has been published following an upheld decision by the Independent Press Standards Organisation.
