CORRECTION: Corrections and clarifications for Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2014

Dec. 03----On Page 3 on Thursday, a photo caption accompanying a quiz about Thanksgiving incorrectly described the offerings at Chicago Diner. The restaurant offers vegetarian fare.

--A story in Tuesday's A+E section omitted the Chicago broadcast date of PBS' "American Masters" presentation of "Bing Crosby Rediscovered." It is scheduled to air Sunday, Dec. 7, on WTTW-Ch. 11.

--A map about snow cover on the weather page on Monday was labeled incorrectly. The label for the snow cover area that was colored green should have said it was for Nov. 30, 2013.

--In some editions Sunday, a front-page story about the fatal shooting of a woman in a Nordstrom store gave an incorrect first name for the woman's ex-boyfriend, Marcus Dee.

--In a column about financial planning Nov. 26 by Jill Schlesinger, an incorrect reference stated that the National Bureau of Economic Research offered various services, including a retirement calculator. In fact, the firm in question is the Employee Benefit Research Institute.

The Tribune regrets the errors.
