CORRECTION: Corrections and clarifications for Thursday, Nov. 13, 2014

Nov. 13--In a story in Wednesday's front-news section about the investigation into a police shooting at NorthShore Highland Park Hospital, the man who was killed was misidentified in one sentence. The man who was killed was Christopher Anderson.

A story in Sunday's Nation World section about the nomination of Loretta Lynch for attorney general included an incomplete quote. Of Lynch, President Barack Obama said: "Loretta might be the only lawyer in America who battles mobsters and drug lords and terrorists and still has the reputation for being a charming people person."

The Tribune regrets the errors.
