Coroner searching for family of man found dead at home

The coroner's office is searching for the family of a man found dead at his home in Old Swan.

Merseyside Police confirmed today that 57-year-old Michael Dewsbury was found dead at his home on Broad Green Road.

The force has released an appeal on behalf of Liverpool Coroner's Office to trace his family.

Police have ruled out foul play, saying his death is not suspicious.

Mr Dewsbury died on November 12.

A police spokesperson said to the ECHO : "Please share and help Liverpool Coroner's Office find the next of kin for Liverpool man Michael Dewsbury.

"Mr Dewsbury, of Broad Green Road, Old Swan, sadly died last Thursday 12 November, aged 57. There are no suspicious circumstances.

"Anyone who can help the Coroner identify or trace any potential next of kin should call Katy Porter 0151 233 0130 or email katy.porter@liverpool.gov.uk."
