A canny couple of film makers are focusing on solving wedding invite list headaches during the pandemic - by live streaming the big day.
Business partners Gavin Steven and Simona Juskaite came up with the idea as coronavirus currently restricts the number of guests to 20.
And the Glasgow-based duo have been inundated with expressions of interest after only launching a month ago.
Gavin, 23, said: “I think it’s a good solution for people - for sheltering family members to be at their wedding or for areas where people aren't supposed to travel in and out of.”
The pair honed their skills and bought their kit on a film studies course at Aberdeen University.
But on graduating last year and moving to Glasgow they found relevant work hard to find as the country careered into lockdown.
Both took jobs to pay the bills - Gavin in a coffee shop and Simona as a carer - before they hit on the wedding streaming idea.
Simona, 24, said: “Both of us had done filmmaking, we’d made short films together.”
And Gavin added: “We were struggling to find work and when covid started we just thought we'd try to do something relevant to the covid crisis.”
Packages start from around £350 to stream the ceremony only or more to cover the whole day.
Gavin added: “During these difficult times, we know that gathering family for the lavish wedding imagined is becoming more and more difficult.”
