New cases of coronavirus in the UK has brought the total number of patients who were confirmed infected to 19.
As the virus continues to spread rapidly across the planet, the number of Covid-19 patients diagnosed in the UK slowly ticks upwards.
This morning the Department of Health and Social Care announced that two Brits had contracted the virus while in Iran.
Both have returned to London from the Middle Eastern country, which has had the highest number of deaths outside of China.
The London patients are being treated at the Royal Free Hospital in the capital, where a number of infected people are also in quarantine.
Someone from Swansea in Wales also has the disease following a trip to Northern Italy.
Public Health Wales is working to identify those who have come into contact with the patient.
Dr Giri Shankar, incident director at the organisation, said: "Public Health Wales is working hard to identify close contacts, and we are taking all appropriate actions to reduce any risk to the public's health."
The ages and genders of the newly confirmed patients have not been revealed by the authorities.
Yesterday six more people tested positive for Cornavirus in the UK.
The highest concentration of patients is to be found in London, where five have been quarantined after flying in from France, one from China, one from Italy and two from Iran.
A Chinese student and their mum were diagnosed and quarantined in York, while Derbsyhire has one confirmed patient who spent time out in Tenerife.
Four people have been isolated at Arrowe Park Hospital in Merseyside having left the Diamond Princess Cruise Ship which became a hotbed for the virus.
Both Belfast and Cardiff have a confirmed case each which originated in Italy.
In the past day concerns have been raised about the NHS's ability to cope with the spread of the virus.
It emerged last night that overstretched hospitals here in the UK would be forced to treat only the patients most likely to survive should the virus take hold.
Former Health Secretary Jeremy Hunt said: “The NHS would find it hard to cope if the pandemic took off.”
Prime Minister Boris Johnson spent four hours visiting Kettering Hospital during the night shift on Thursday night.
During his visit - which lasted until 4am - he spent time discussing preparations for dealing with the Covid-19 outbreak with senior clinicians.
He will chair his first Coronavirus-related meeting of the government's emergency committee, COBRA, on Monday.
