Coronavirus UK LIVE: Brits brace for Queen's historic address and Sunday 'heatwave' as death toll soars by 708

Brits up and down the country have been basking in the weekend's warm weather, despite Government orders to "stay at home."

Parks have shut and police have ramped up warnings as Boris Johnson urged the public to "save lives" by respecting social distancing measures.

It comes as Boris Johnson's pregnant partner Carrie Symonds revealed that she has been suffering from coronavirus symptoms, after the UK Covid-19 death toll surged by 708 overnight.

On Sunday, the Queen will address the nation with a historic rallying cry, saying the crisis will prove that "Britons of this generation are as strong as any."
