Boris Johnson has been taken to hospital for "precautionary" tests, as his coronavirus symptoms show no sign of abating.
The news came just minutes after The Queen urged the British people to show "self-discipline and resolve" in the face of the coronavirus crisis, as she addressed the nation in a historic televised speech.
Her words of hope come as the Government repeats its calls to the public not to breach lockdown rules, as lives continue to be lost.
The number of people who have died after contracting coronavirus in the UK jumped by 621 overnight, with 47,806 cases of the illness now confirmed across the country.
