The nation has come together for a second time to applaud the NHS workers on the front line of the coronavirus pandemic.

People across the UK stood in their doorways, on balconies and at windows to clap for the key workers fighting Covid-19.

Landmarks like the Shard in London and Windsor Castle, where the Queen is social distancing, were lit up in blue as tribute.

It comes as Health Secretary Matt Hancock announced the UK is looking to carry out 100,000 coronavirus tests per day by the end of April.
