The UK has 164 confirmed cases of coronavirus cases, up from 116 recorded yesterday.
On Thursday a woman in her 70s became the first person to die in the country after catching the flu-like virus.
A man in his 80s, who had underlying health conditions, is feared to have become the second person to die in the UK.
He was being treated at Milton Keynes Hospital in Buckinghamshire and samples taken from him are being tested for Covid-19.
Scotland reported five more cases and two British Airways baggage handlers, who work at Heathrow Airport, have tested positive for the killer bug.

Where are the latest cases?
A fourth coronavirus case has been identified in Northern Ireland.
The adult patient had recently travelled from Italy and is linked to a previously confirmed positive case.
Staff at the Public Health Agency are working to identify contacts the individual may have had.
The region's chief medical officer Dr Michael McBride said: "Further positive cases have been expected and we anticipate the number will increase in the days and weeks ahead.
"Northern Ireland remains in the containment phase and it is important to emphasise that. This will obviously be kept under constant review."
Five new cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Scotland, health officials said on Friday.
The new Covid-19 cases are in two in Fife, and one each in Grampian, Forth Valley and Lothian health board areas, the Scottish Government said in an update.
In London, more than 1,200 staff at commodity pricing agency S&P Global Platts' office in Canary Wharf have been ordered to work from home after a visitor was later diagnosed with Covid-19.
A case of coronavirus has been confirmed in Bristol following the news 15 people across the south west have contracted the virus.
The person was infected while in northern Italy and has been self-isolating at home since their return.
Both Bristol City Council and Public Health England confirmed the news this afternoon (March 6) in a joint statement, Bristol Live reports.

Facebook closes three London offices
Facebook is closing its London offices after an employee was diagnosed with coronavirus.
The company will be shutting three of its offices in the UK capital until Monday after the employee who is based in Singapore visited between 24-26 February.
Staff are being told to work from home as a deep clean takes place.
Facebook is thought to have around 3,000 employees in London.
It is not clear how many people had come into contact with the employee who has tested positive, but Facebook said it had been in contact with them all.
These people have been told to self-isolate and watch out incase they develop any symptoms.
A spokesperson for Facebook told Sky News : "An employee based in our Singapore office who has been diagnosed with COVID-19 visited our London offices 24-26 February 2020.
"We are therefore closing our London offices until Monday for deep cleaning and employees are working from home until then."

People who have returned to the UK from the following places in the last 14 days are being told to stay indoors and avoid contact with others, even if they do not have symptoms: Iran, Hubei province in China, lockdown areas in northern Italy, special care zones in South Korea.

Latest figures worldwide
The number of people infected with coronavirus across the world surpassed 100,000 today as the outbreak reached more countries.
An increasing number of people faced a new reality as many were asked to stay home from work, schools were closed, large gatherings and events were cancelled, stores cleared of staples like toiletries and water, and face masks became a common sight.
The outbreak has killed more than 3,400 people and spread across more than 90 nations, with six countries reporting their first cases on Friday.
