Coronavirus: The sustainable fashion brand making scrubs for frontline NHS staff

The coronavirus pandemic is causing a strain in areas of the NHS many had never imagined.

Members of the health service, who have been applauded by the nation twice in the past fortnight, are facing a shortage of personal protective equipment (PPE). Hospital scrubs are a vital part of keeping staff and their families, as well as other patients, safe.

Now one company is stepping up to help.

ELLISS, a sustainable underwear brand, is recruiting a network of volunteers to sew scrubs for doctors and nurses on the frontlines. Its campaign 'Scrub up!' allows people to join in the effort from their homes with a downloadable guide.

If you're interested in finding out more about how you can help watch our video and check out the 'Scrub up!' website.
