Coronavirus: The Chase’s Paul Sinha is convinced he has bug amid Parkinson's battle

The Chase star Paul Sinha said he's sure he has coronavirus.

The quiz master, 49, shared his fears with his fans on Twitter over the weekend amid the COVID-19 outbreak spreading across the globe.

Paul warned others he had started social distancing too late before he was struck down with what he believes to be coronavirus.

However, the TV star tried to make light of the terrible situation as he jested he would start sneezing in someone's home if they upset him.

The Chase star - who has been battling Parkinson's disease - kept his 143K followers updated about his health.

He wrote: "Although I can't be sure and I can't be tested it seems likely I have Coronavirus.

"Started social distancing a few days too late. Anyone upsets me; I'll be around to sneeze in your home."

The quiz brain has been battling with Parkinson's disease since his diagnosis in June last year.

Prior to that, he had been suffering with bad health for two years.

Recently, the TV personality voiced he has no sense of fear since his diagnosis.

But the clever star vowed to fight Parkinson's with everything he's got.

He told The Guardian: "The thing that has changed most since the diagnosis is that I've lost my fear.

"I've always been one of those comics who doesn't say much on panel shows because I’m terrified of saying the wrong thing or offending the wrong person.

"But now, I've lost all that. I've got the exaggerated carpe diem that a lot of people get with their diagnosis."

In the UK, government have advised anyone over 70 or with underlying health conditions must self-isolate for 12 weeks.

Groups of people over their 70s or with underlying health conditions have been proven to be most at risk amid the outbreak of COVID-19.
