Premier League could resume with TV-only events staged at Wembley
The latest off-the-wall plans to resurrect the 2019-20 Premier League will reportedly feature up to four matches a day being hosted at Wembley Stadium.
The English top flight season has been postponed for the foreseeable future amid the social lockdown put in place by the government amidst the coronavirus pandemic.
And reports this morning claim that the League could restart in June with behind-closed-doors games, with as multiple matches being staged at Wembley Stadium on the same day.
A source told the Times: "By June or July they will be playing games solely at TV events.
"If they have to play four games a day at Wembley to get it done, they will do that."
