Coronavirus: Sky News star Kay Burley screams 'have you been tested yet?' outside No10

Sky news presenter Kay Burley screeched at every minister arriving at No10: "Have you been tested yet [for coronavirus]?"

The news anchor was reporting on the killer virus outbreak which has been sweeping the globe.

Kay, 59, come under fire for shouting at the politicians heading into the infamous No10 on Downing Street.

Social media was awash with angry messages from viewers comparing the news presenter to inept broadcaster character Alan Partridge (as played by Steve Coogan).

"Kay Burley, channeling her inner Partridge..." One viewer fumed among the crowds.

In a scathing backlash, Sky viewers have branded the "street shouting" segment "embarrassing" to watch.

Others added: "Kay Burley has found her level, standing in the street shouting at people "have you been tested for the Coronavirus yet?" #MoonHowler ."

"It's embarrassing to see kay burley shouting across downing Street while also interviewing guests!"

"Not very professional or serious to shout out to people as enter No.10 if they have had the Coronavirus test yet!"

The Mirror has approached Kay Burley's representative for further comment.

Kay has had a long flourishing career with the broadcaster after she joined the Sky News team in 1988.

The journalist even landed her own title programme The Kay Burley Show in September 2018.

Later, she was moved to the breakfast time to host Kay Burley @ Breakfast in October 2019.

She has a history working for BBC Local Radio, Tyne Tees Television and TV-am.
