Coronavirus: Scream Queens actress Laura Bell Bundy diagnosed with deadly bug

Laura Bell Bundy has revealed she has been diagnosed with coronavirus.

The Scream Queens actress, 38, took to Instagram on Wednesday night to share the news as she explained her symptoms and how she was looking after herself.

She said the last time she was out in public was on March 11 and has been self-isolating since the following day after she began suffering a headache.

Laura told her followers: "That day I had a headache, just assumed it was a normal headache."

She then started experiencing a sore throat and then intermittent shortness of breath and tightness in her chest.

Laura continued: "I tested last Friday and then Monday I got the results that I have coronavirus.

"Over the weekend I had no symptoms at all and actually through I was delusional."

“It's very very scary. Of course I’m scared," she added.

Laura reassured fans that she was staying inside and taking vitamin supplements to boost her immune system and speed up her recovery.

She added: "I encourage everyone to stay inside.

"My belief is that more people have this than they realise and could be carriers.

"I was tested but many people can't get tested. .... It's my belief a lot of us have it. Please take care of yourselves."

The US has almost 70,000 confirmed cases of coronavirus, an increase of more than 10,000 since yesterday.

At least 1,050 people with the virus have died in the US.

The number of deaths in the UK from coronavirus has risen from 422 to 463 overnight.
