The update comes after the First Minister Nicola Sturgeon announced yesterday that people shielding will be allowed to meet more people indoors from today.

The most vulnerable across the country were forced to stay inside during the height of the pandemic, however from today, July 24, they will be allowed to meet more people indoors.

Scotland moved further out of lockdown earlier this week with a number of restrictions lifted across the country.

The biggest change saw beauty salons and tattoo parlours open their doors for the first time since late March when lockdown was imposed by the Prime Minister Boris Johnson.

Pubs, restaurants, art galleries and museums opened last week as Scotland eased out of lockdown.
