Nicola Sturgeon reported that four more Scots had died from the virus in the last 24 hours.

The latest figures come as it emerged on Thursday the Scottish Government were planning for a "circuit-break lockdown" over the October holidays.

The short-term lockdown, which could last between two to three weeks, could see additional restrictions brought into force to curb the spread of the virus.
