Beautician and nail salons in Glasgow and across Scotland have been given the green light to reopen as Nicola Sturgeon announced the Scottish Government's latest steps towards lockdown easing.
Speaking in the Scottish parliament, the First Minister gave major updates when she confirmed that beauty services could restart again on July 22.
Many in the beauty industry were left frustrated when the Scottish Government announced hairdressers and barbers could open from July 15 - but put the brakes on nail bars and beauty salons reopening.
Now beauticians and salon owners can prepare to have clients back in their chairs from Wednesday, July 22.
The First Minister made the announcement as she confirmed Scotland has now entered Phase Three of lockdown.
She said it is the "most significant milestone yet" but warned that the easing of such restrictions "was the highest risk change we've made so far."
