Coronavirus Scotland: Ayrshire football side in cash plea to fans to help club through outbreak

Junior football giants Irvine Meadow have issued a cash plea to fans to help the club through the coronavirus crisis.

The three-times Scottish Junior Cup winners are asking supporters to make pledges of at least £2 per month to help with weekly running costs.

The move comes after the Junior football season was suspended indefinitely, leaving clubs to survive without much needed match day income.

Meadow are asking fans for no more than what they would normally spend on a match day for entry, pie and a pint.

But any contribution no matter how big or small would be much appreciated. Donations from other members of the community would also be gratefully received.

Payments can be transferred to the club's bank acount at IMFC Sort: 83-23-13; Account no: 10799922.
