Coronavirus Scotland: Ayrshire cases on the rise again

Confirmed cases of coronavirus in Ayrshire have risen again overnight.

A total of 199 people have tested positive for COVID-19 in the region – up from 177 yesterday.

Figures for the whole of Scotland show 76 people have died from coronavirus and 2310 have now tested positive.

The Scottish Government say of the 430 new laboratory reports yesterday, 108 were from the Dundee laboratory which had been unable to submit data over the weekend or Monday morning.
