The latest coronavirus statistics were announced by the First Minister to MSPs in the Scottish Parliament at Holyrood.

It comes as Nicola Sturgeon is set to announce a four-phase plan of Scotland’s exit from lockdown restrictions - more than nine weeks after they were first imposed.

Figures published yesterday showed Scotland’s weekly deaths from the virus had fallen for a third week in a row.

National Records of Scotland figures revealed that there were 332 deaths relating to the disease registered between May 11-17.
