Ryan Thomas ' daughter was forced to meet her new half brother Roman on FaceTime as they're kept apart amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
The former Coronation Street star, who welcomed little Roman with fiancé Lucy Mecklenburgh on March 12, is also a proud dad to 11-year-old Scarlett with ex Tina O'Brien.
Despite the joy of welcoming his son this month, Ryan's happiness was bittersweet as his daughter could only meet her brother virtually.
The soap star took to Instagram to share a sweet snap of the exchange.
Writing to his one million followers, the dad-of-two beamed: "Thank god for technology!
"I’m finding it really tough being away from my family and sad this is how my daughter met her baby brother."
He added: "To any other broken families I feel your pain and it’s killing me being apart from my daughter and family for so long, especially at this special time.
"BUT we all need to take social isolation and social distancing seriously and it’s a sacrifice we have to make to save lives."
The picture shows Ryan hold little Roman's head as he holds up his phone in his other hand during the FaceTime call with Scarlett.

It seems as though Ryan will need to wait until the pair can meet for a while longer, as the pandemic keeps rapidly spreading across the globe.
Despite the government's advice to self isolate, the pair managed to sneak out for a Mother's Day stroll to mark the special occasion as Lucy celebrated her first as a new mum.
The pair were cautious and walked at a sensible distance apart from one another as they enjoyed a stroll in the sunshine before picking up a takeaway Sunday roast.

The couple decided to unveil baby Roman to mark 28-year-old Lucy's first Mother's Day.
The stunning snap - was first posted by Lucy on her Instagram grid - and showed the first-time mum cradling little Roman in her arms.
The former TOWIE star looked radiant as she beamed down at the newborn tot.

She penned alongside the snap that Ryan was absent from: "My first Mother’s Day with my special little man love you so much Roman."
Ryan followed suit and shared the same snap - but this time he was in the image - and wrote: "Happy first Mother’s Day."
