The recovery rate of coronavirus infections in Saudi Arabia has reached 72 percent, announced the Health Ministry on Friday.
It registered 3,159 new cases, taking the total to 226,486. Active cases account to 6,130 of the infections and are receiving medical care. Critical cases amount to 2,220.
Recoveries have climbed to 163,026 after 1,930 more people were declared virus-free.
The Ministry urged people to wash their hands with soap, saying it was among the best ways to ward off the virus.
It also called on them to wear face masks, whether medical or plain cloth, upon leaving the house, stressing that it must cover the nose and mouth.
