The recovery rate from the novel coronavirus in Saudi Arabia has reached 82.09 percent.
In a daily press briefing on the outbreak, the Health Ministry reported 2,378 new cases, taking the total 262,772.
Of the infections, 44,369 are active and receiving medical treatment, including 2,143 in critical condition.
Thirty-seven more fatalities were reported, taking the tally to 2,672. Recoveries climbed to 215,731 after 2,241 more people were reported virus-free.
The Health Ministry underlined the importance of adhering to health precautions, especially washing hands with soap, and urging people to wear a face mask when leaving the house.
