Scientists say a red skin rash could be a new telltale sign of coronavirus - even if the patient doesn't have other typical symptoms.
So far the indicators are known to be a persistent cough, a high temperature and breathlessness.
But researchers now say a number of people who tested positive for coronavirus had a rash that looked similar to frost bite, hives and sore red skin, the Daily Record reports.
Other well-known symptoms reported are fatigue, eye pain, a loss of taste and smell and a "fizzing" sensation on the skin.

We previously reported that Spanish medical experts revealed that several coronavirus patients had purple lesions on their feet.
And now scientists in France have described the discovery of the rash as reddened skin similar to hives or frostbite, reports the Daily Star.
Doctors say the red skin can be painful.
According to the French National Union of Dermatologists - Venereologists (SNDV), a number of Covid-19 patients have shown these symptoms.
The organisation said dermatological symptoms have occurred in patients with respiratory symptoms and without.
A spokesman for SNDV said: "Analysis of the many cases reported to SNDV shows that these manifestations can be associated with the novel coronavirus.
"We are alerting the public and the medical profession in order to detect these potentially contagious patients as quickly as possible."
