Coronavirus: Pregnant Danielle Armstrong says fiancé is not self-isolating despite government advice

Danielle Armstrong has admitted that her fiancé isn't self-isolating despite government advice over the coronavirus.

The former TOWIE star, 31, is currently pregnant with her first child but her other half Tom Edney is still going outside.

She made the post before the government announced that people could be fined for leaving their houses amid the nationwide lockdown, which has been put in place to stop the spread of the deadly bug.

But at the time Danielle was speaking pregnant women had been told to stay inside as they're considered to be more at risk if they catch the virus.

She said: "So lots of you have been asking me: 'Is Tom self-isolating?'

"So he's not and I know this sounds stupid but this is where the government I feel like just need to either just do the lockdown or not because Tom has to go to work, like his company has not shut down.

"I mean no one has had any of the symptoms in his work and he's on a construction site but he's in the office part."

Danielle said Tom had been taking precautions to make sure he doesn't catch the virus.

She continued: "As soon as he comes back home he goes straight in the shower, washes his hands, [uses] hand sanitiser...

"But, I don't know, realistically, if I'm self-isolating he should be as well.

"But what can you do when his work is carrying on as normal and you can't really not go to work."

The government has told people to stay at home as the coronavirus sweeps across the country.

You can only leave your home for four reasons: shopping for basic necessities, one form of exercise a day, any medical need and travelling to and from work.
