Pink has revealed that she and her three-year-old son, Jameson, are recovering from coronavirus but that “it got really, really scary”.
Speaking on an Instagram live over the weekend, the singer explained that they had not yet recovered fully but were doing “better”.
“I’m hoping we are out of the woods but this thing is a rollercoaster,” she told her 7.7 million followers.
“Just when you think you are better, something else happens.”
The 40-year-old singer went on to explain the symptoms she and Jameson had experienced.
“I’ve kept a journal of [Jameson’s] symptoms for the past three weeks and mine as well,” she said.
“He still, three weeks later, has a [high] temperature. It’s been a rollercoaster for both of us.”
Pink added that she has suffered from asthma throughout her life.
“It got really, really scary, I’m not gonna lie,” she continued.
“In the beginning, all we were hearing was ‘If you’re young, this is 65 and older, all of the kids are fine.
“But [Jameson has] been really, really sick and it’s scary. I thought they promised us our kids would be okay. It’s not guaranteed. There is no one that is safe from this.”
The singer said that her eight-year-old daughter and husband Carey Hart had remained healthy and well.
Pink is one of the many celebrities to have spoken out about having Covid-19.
Actors Tom Hanks and Idris Elba are among those to have tested positive for the illness, though both are now thought to be in recovery after experiencing mild symptoms.
