Coronavirus: Paddy McGuinness hits out at 'massive d***heads' panic-buying toilet roll

Television presenter Paddy McGuinness has blasted those panic-buying toilet roll as the coronavirus pandemic continues.

The Top Gear presenter, 46, was left furious from scenes he had seen and was set to head to a supermarket but was concerned the shelves would be bare.

The Take Me Out host said on Instagram : "I'm about to risk my first big shop since all the madness happened.

"I hope there's stuff on the shelves after all the absolute tools stripped everything all the pensioners and everyone else who couldn't get to the supermarkets."

He then went to point out the conflicting logic of stocking up on both pasta and toilet roll.

Paddy noted: "Well, that pasta you bought and that lifetime supply of toilet roll?

"After eating all that pasta, you wont be s***ting for a month so the toilet roll is a waste of time."

Following his supermarket visit, Paddy found his fears confirmed and continued to blast those panic-buying supplies.

He continued: "Toilet rolls and kitchen rolls shelves - still totally empty.

"Food and drink - the very stuff we need to survive - tons of it! No need to panic, there's plenty on the shelves!"

He questioned the behaviour of the panic-buyers and asked: "What are you doing?"

Paddy was due to appear in an episode of ITV2 panel show Celebrity Juice but the show was called off when host Keith Lemon came down with symptoms similar to those expected with COVID-19.

Meanwhile, Paddy was recently left astounded by his wife Christine's commitment to fitness.

The model and mother of three kept watch of children during bath time but kept in shape by riding on her exercise bike throughout.
