A "risk assessment" has been carried out within the school by NHS Ayrshire & Arran's Test & Protect team.

It comes as Girvan Primary School took the decision to close until next week after a spike in cases of Covid.

It is understood that staff and pupils from the Girvan school are set to return on Tuesday, November 16.
