Only two shops, which both sell essential items, remain open at the Mall in Cribbs Causeway - where a worker was diagnosed with coronavirus.
The majority of the huge shopping complex has now closed after Boris Johnson demanded all stores apart from those selling food and medicine should shut immediately.
The stores open are Boots Pharmacy and Marks and Spencer Food, which can be accessed from their own entrances.
Yesterday (March 23), Bristol Live revealed that a shop worker had been diagnosed with coronavirus on Friday. Tonight, The Mall's owners would not reveal the shop due to 'confidentiality agreements' in place.
A spokesperson said: "Following the Government’s update, we can confirm that the Mall at Cribbs Causeway will now be operating on a partially closed basis.
"Cribbs Causeway provides access to the vital services provided by Boots Pharmacy and Marks and Spencer Food. These stores alone will remain open and can be accessed from their own external entrances – the internal mall will be closed.
"We would like to thank our fantastic team who have been working very hard in very challenging circumstances, to support our retailers, serve our communities and take care of one another. Our thoughts are with everyone during this difficult time."
It comes as coronavirus-related deaths across the UK rose from 335 to 422, a jump of 87. This is the largest day-on-day increase in the number of deaths since the outbreak began.
Everyone has been ordered to remain in their homes and only venture out for food shops, which they should do infrequently, and one daily walk.
