Coronavirus Northern Ireland: No further Covid-19 deaths and 34 new cases reported by DoH

The Department of Health has today reported no further Coronavirus related deaths in Northern Ireland.

According to the Department's latest dashboard update, the death toll here stands at 559.

The figures, released at 2pm on Wednesday August 19, also indicate that in the last 24 hours, a further 34 individuals have tested positive for the virus.

This increase brings the total number of positive cases in Northern Ireland to 6,505.

And the Department also report that in the last seven days, 294 individuals have tested positive for Covid-19.

The overall number of individuals tested for the virus since the beginning of the pandemic is now 184,458.
