Coronavirus Northern Ireland: No further Covid-19 deaths and 20 new cases reported by DoH

The Department of Health has today reported no further Coronavirus related deaths.

According to their latest dashboard update, the death toll in Northern Ireland stands at 559.

These figures, released at 2pm on Friday August 21, also indicate that in the last 24 hours, a further 20 individuals have tested positive for the virus.

This increase brings the total number of positive cases in Northern Ireland to 6,576.

And the Department also report that in the last seven days, 262 individuals have tested positive for Covid-19.

The overall number of individuals tested for the virus since the beginning of the pandemic is now 189,996
